Pupils enjoyed a day at Chester Zoo last week. We went to support our Science topic of ‘animals’.
There was plenty of animals to see including the elephants, a sleeping lion, a cheetah, flamingos, penguins, a jaguar, and orangutans. We also visited the Dragons in Danger exhibit.
The children used their recently learnt map skills from Geography lessons to help them navigate the route, and they even bumped into Year 1 from Gorsey Bank Primary whilst they were there.

Everyone had a great time – lots of walking and some very tired children on the coach home!
